Therapy for high-achieving women navigating burnout, anxiety, and life's biggest transitions, in person or online.
And permission to be seen and supported exactly as you are.

Exhausted, overwhelmed, and often unappreciated? But you "look fine" on the outside and seem to have it all together to others? I want to work with you. I help high-achieving women break cycles of burnout, reconnect with their inner needs, and build confidence without guilt, perfectionism, or self-criticism.
Tara holds an MSW from Cal State University, Sacramento (2013), is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona (LCSW-20743), and is HAP EMDR trained. She tailors treatment to each client's unique presentation and goals.
A quiet, private space in Phoenix, designed so that the second you sit down you can exhale and simply be yourself.

Ideal for women who are exhausted from invisible labor, overwhelmed by stress or midlife transitions, and high performers who feel like they have to hold it all together. Areas of focus include:
A trauma-focused approach that helps process and move through difficult experiences at your own pace.
Building psychological flexibility so you can act on what matters most, even amid difficult thoughts and feelings.
Present-moment awareness practices that quiet overthinking and reduce reactivity.
A grounded, paced approach to processing trauma and emotionally invalidating experiences.
Tara tailors treatment modalities to each unique client's presentation of symptoms and goals. Set up a consult and find out what's best for you.
Colleagues who know her work, in their own words.

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many of my clients are high-functioning people who look like they’re managing everything on the outside but feel overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, or stuck on the inside (basically, functioning adults with a lot going on behind the scenes).
If you’re finding yourself constantly taking care of everyone else, struggling to set boundaries, feeling disconnected from yourself, or simply wanting life to feel lighter, therapy may be a good fit.
The best way to find out is to schedule a consultation. We’ll talk about what’s going on, answer your questions, and decide together whether working together feels like the right next step—no pressure, no awkward commitment speeches.
Both. Sessions are available in person at my Phoenix office or virtually, wherever works best for you.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, often like a first date, but with fewer awkward silences and no pressure to split the bill. I’ll ask questions about what’s bringing you to therapy, what’s been feeling difficult, and what you hope will be different. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start.
You’ll leave our first session with a better understanding of how we can work together.
Sessions are 60 minutes.
There isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer.
Some people come for a few months to work through a specific challenge, while others choose longer-term therapy for deeper healing and personal growth.
We’ll regularly check in on your goals and make sure therapy continues to feel helpful and intentional. My goal isn’t to keep you in therapy forever.
Yes. Your privacy is incredibly important to me. What you share in therapy is confidential, with a few legal and ethical exceptions. These exceptions include situations where there is concern about immediate safety, suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or vulnerable adult, or when records are required by a court order.
We’ll review confidentiality together during your first appointment so you know exactly what to expect and can feel comfortable asking any questions.
I don't accept insurance directly; my practice is self-pay only. I can provide you with a superbill, which is a detailed receipt of your sessions that you can submit to your insurance company yourself for possible out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards are also accepted.
Individual sessions are $150. Payment by American Express, Cash, HSA, Mastercard, Visa, or Zelle.
